Had to bring my pineapple plant indoors (did you know that you can chop the top off of a pineapple and actually plant it?!) is looking a little puny, but hanging in there. For the two months it gets cold in Texas (January and February), it gets really cold, so, we’ll see if it survives.
I want to share an easy recipe that’s nice to come home to in winter, and if you’re one of those in California in the “perfect weather zone,” you’re still allowed to enjoy it 
slow cooker. Mix the jelly and mustard well, and pour the mixture over them,
stirring well. Cover, and heat on high for 2 hours until the sauce is hot.
Until ready to serve, put on low, and stir occasionally. Halve them for great sandwiches, or eat along with mashed/baked potatoes for a warm, filling meal.
This serves 6-8, depending on how hungry they are!
